studio | bond is the atelier, art studio, and curatorial practice of Janice Bond.

Her multidisciplinary work examines kinship, memory, and the architectures of care through photography, mixed media, and time based installation. Working between Chicago, Portugal, and Houston, Bond’s practice moves between visual inquiry and social research, drawing on sound, sacred geometry, and lived encounter to explore how cultural and emotional bonds are formed, protected, and sustained across time and place.

Alongside her studio work, Bond’s curatorial practice centers artist led inquiry, stewardship, and long form engagement. Through studio | bond, she develops projects that privilege rigor, restraint, and care, positioning art as both a visual structure and a living archive.
